Recently we were approached by the Landlady of an established Pub in York. She had just taken over the Tenancy and was concerned that when the Tiled toilet floors became wet they turned into an ice skating rink.
Clearly, this was of great concern in an environment where a guest could quite easily slip and cause themselves a significant injury not to mention a potential claim against the Pub.
The challenge was not just in cleaning and restoring the floor to bring back a restored look to it but also to minimize the potential slip element to it.
Tiles, if not cleaned and maintained effectively can mean that they are left with a build-up of soaps and detergents which in time can become very slippery and hazardous.
Excellence began working early evening on a quiet night when the premises were closed early and worked through part of the night to bring the floor back to a former condition finishing the job by applying an anti-slip treatment which will for some time prevent this hazard from reoccurring.
